Our School Facilities

Yumbe Secondary School provides top-notch facilities to support academic, sporting, and personal development. We are committed to creating a safe, modern, and stimulating environment for all students.

12 classrooms constructed by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in 1990 to support the education of Sudanese refugee students; Four (4) additional classrooms constructed by the Government of Uganda under the APL I Programme; and Three (3) science laboratories constructed under the African Development Bank (AfDB) Phase IV Programme, strengthening the school's capacity to deliver quality science education.

Modern Classrooms

Our extensive sports facilities include soccer fields, basketball and volleyball courts, athletics tracks, and spaces for other outdoor games. Dormitories

Our boarding facilities provide a secure, comfortable, and supervised environment for students who stay on campus. Dormitories are spacious, well-ventilated, and thoughtfully furnished to ensure students’ comfort and well-being. Resident staff ensure safety, discipline, and pastoral care, creating a home-away-from-home atmosphere.
